I don’t usually do this but…

if you read this, even if i don’t speak to you often, you must post a memory of me.
It can be anything you want, it can be good or bad, just so long as it happened.

Then post this to your journal. See what people remember about you….

    “So what’s up now, bitch?”

And the first or second time I met you was at McGill at the picnic table. You were there with Lea and had your laptop and were playing with it. I think it was right before (or maybe after) the drag show a year and a half ago. Have I really only known you that long?

“What do you mean my presentation was only a half hour long? I could have sworn I went over my time limit!”

I think that was the last time that I saw you at PhreakNIC 8.

i seem to remember you driving the get-away car when barbara and i streaked. we got there and little early and when you drove up, we were standing naked outside the vandy post office contemplating whether or not we should hide behind a tree because we knew the cops had been called.

My favorite memory that comes to mind, is that my senior year Karen and I had to be up “early” for a meeting on Sundays. I think that early meant 11am. So when we got done and the dorm was all quiet, we liked to open your door, which was always unlocked, and then jump on your bed to wake you up. :)

Hanging out in Opryland’s atrium with you for a couple hours one night when we were both bored, talking about life in general. And playing Monopoly with you, Corydon and my ex-roommate.

I remember at Artrageous when you kept trying to do Au Batido and accidentally kicking people who hadn’t been there a second ago. It was pretty weird.

Wow, there are so many… I few that pop to mind… Playing in a big pile of dirt at the camp and yelling “NATIVE” every time my dad went by on the mower, throwing golf balls around my grandparents garage (ringy-ding), as you said, all the Nintendo fun, the days in Eklum’s class, cleaning out your mom’s basement and digging through all the memories.

You always impress me by being coordinated and skilled in all physical & mental challenges you attempt… (as long as there’s a guard on the handlebar..) And you know you’re charming and remarkable when you become BETTER friends with someone after you burn a goodly portion of their hair off trying to light their cigarette.

Sitting on the couch at tyree’s place and talking about chicks. You making me realize that I was older than you and giving you advice. Damn. Good times, great talk.

Oh Lord, well, I’m sure that there are great memories from my senior year, but I can’t recall any of them…they seem lost in a haze.

But, I do remember coming back to Vanderbilt during spring break last year and running into you at the picnic table and lunching with you and Jacob. Former McGillites, living it up, and you seemed honestly glad to see me–which was cool since I felt like I was surrounded by kindergarteners as I walked around campus.

I remember that time you pooped on my floor.

I remember the time we were watching cheech and chong and the guy said “you have hair piece on your head” and you didn’t get the reference.

I remember the time your mom thought I was a bad influence on you because Shauna and I kept you out late bowling.

I remember you doing me a huge favor in high school valiantly pretending to be my boyfriend because I was trying to avoid talking to a boy (I forgot who though). And I definatley remember you jumping over me on your bike while I would lie in the middle of the street thinking to myself “oh shit, what the hell have I gotten myself into.” And riding on the back pegs of your bike. That was cool.

Valiantly might not be the right word.. Though I only vaguely remember that incident, I more than likely was secretly wishing I really was your boyfriend. :) Ahh the days of highschool.. i was so afraid of girls..

As for riding on the pegs, yeah, that was cool. Good memories, no doubt.

P.S. Natalie, I may be making a trip up to chicago soon.. I’ll email you about it. :)
